We have been fortunate enough to have Graeme Dingle Foundation STARS programme being delivered throughout the past three terms. This programme has made a positive impact on our Year 9 students, increasing on their social and communication skills as well as engagement with Senior Students throughout the school. A recent highlight was planting a root vegetable garden as part of their STARS Community Project which we can harvest for our School Hāngī. This was made possible through the generous support of Bunnings Shirley. We are incredibly proud of our peer mentors and Year 9 students for their enthusiasm, commitment, and growth in confidence, leadership and connection throughout the year
For those Year 11 and Year 12 students who wish to be part of this Leadership Programme next year, nominations will be opening Mid Term 4with Peer Mentor Training commencing towards the end of January School Holidays. . We look forward to welcoming STARS back in 2027!
