Re: Parent/Teacher/Student Hui: Achievement and NCEA Progress
We can now give you more details about our parent/teacher interviews, scheduled for Thursday 28 May, 3.30pm - 6.30pm. This hui has a focus on our senior students.
If your young person is in Year 11, 12 or 13, we would love to see you. This is an opportunity to speak with teachers about progress towards NCEA. Ideally, students will accompany parents or whānau. We are all in this together!
During this time:
Students may choose to share some of their goals for learning, and what is working or not working for them in class.
Teachers can talk about what important class activities or assessments might be coming up.
You can ask questions about NCEA.
This is also a chance to discuss how home and school can best work together to support your child’s learning.
The ‘school interviews’ portal will be open for bookings from Tuesday 12th May.

There is the option to book a 10 minute slot with each teacher. If you do not have access to the internet, you are welcome to phone the school office, and one of our staff will be glad to assist you with appointment times. A bell will ring at 10-minute intervals as a reminder to head to your next meeting. We ask that you stick to these times to ensure the smooth running of the event; staff have also been reminded of this!
Teachers will be in our Waikākāriki building. Hot drinks and light refreshments will also be on offer. Staff and students will be there to assist you if you’re not sure of where to go, and a site map will be available.
