On Wednesday 3 June, Ms Hansen too the Year 11 Japanese class to the University of Canterbury to participate in the annual NCEA Japanese Workshop run by UC Japanese programme staff.
The event allowed students to practice their language skills with other language learners from schools around Canterbury, as well as participate in a dance to promote language learning and cultural exchange.
It was an inspiring day, which the students thoroughly enjoyed and are already looking forward to next year's event.
