University of Canterbury (UC) hosts Te Rā Tūhura | Discovery Day annually and invites all Year 12 students and teachers from across Christchurch and Canterbury to spend a day on campus exploring what university could look like for them.
The event offers students the chance to experience UC first-hand. Participants create their own timetable, attend short lectures, explore different subjects and discover how their interests at school could lead to future study and career pathways.
Throughout the day, students experience the rhythm of campus life, meet others considering university and gain useful insights to help them to make well informed decisions about Year 13 subjects and future study options.
It was also good to catch up with our past head boys from 2023, 2024 and 2025 - who by the way are doing exceptionally well!
