Mairehau School Library - Te Whare Matauranga

Our fully computerised school library is staffed by a Library Manager during school hours. Classes book to use the library during class lesson time and it is open to all students at morning tea and lunch time. Senior students may use the library during their study periods.

Year 9, 10 and 11 students may have 2 books issued for 3 weeks and Year 12 and 13 students may have 3 books issued for 3 weeks.

The school library has a very good collection of fiction, non fiction and reference books to support the school curriculum and encourage recreational reading.

Three computers are available to search the library catalogue and 6 networked computers are available for research purposes or completing assignments.
